Persevere by God’s Power | Philippians 1:12-14

In Philippians 1:12-14 the Apostle Paul updates the church to lift up their hearts and collectively persevere by God's power. He encourages them to see God's sovereignty, speak about God's Son, and strengthen the other saints along the way. 

Lean on the Lord (part 2) | Psalm 127:3-5

In Psalm 127:3-5 King Solomon encourages us to appreciate God's gift in children, aim them on mission, and anticipate future provision as He continues to build the house of people who praise His name.

Lean on the Lord (part 1) | Psalm 127:1-2

In Psalm 127 King Solomon invites God's people to lean on the Lord in all of life. He starts off the Psalm by helping us realize who the Lord is and how knowing the Lord enables us to rest and work as an overflow of worship.

Pray For God’s People | Philippians 1:9-11

In Philippians 1:9-11 Paul prays for God's people to be devoted to one another in life, discerning and wise in life, and dedicated to the pursuit of God's glory because of God's grace. 

Love the Lord’s People | Philippians 1:7-8

In Philippians 1:7-8 the Apostle Paul encourages a loving church community by exuding his love for the Lord's people via proclaiming thanksgiving, partnering  in the gospel, and prioritizing a ministry of presence even if not immediately possible. 

Be Confident in Christ | Philippians 1:6

The Apostle Paul encourages us to have confidence in Christ's work through the church because God is sovereign, steadfast, and certain to complete what He has begun. 

Cherish the Church | Philippians 1:3-5

In Philippians 1:3-5 the Apostle Paul pours out his heart to God in thanksgiving for the church. Likewise, we are encouraged to cherish the church by praying, praising, and partnering for the purpose of knowing and making known the gospel. 

Partner for God’s Praise | Philippians 1:1-2

In Philippians 1:1-2 Paul opens his letter to this small church he previously planted in order to encourage God-glorifying rooted in their God-given identity as servants, saints, and siblings in Jesus Christ.

A Vision from the Valley | Psalm 84

In the pilgrimage of this life, God is a refuge and hope for those who seek to worship Him. The guest preacher for this sermon was Troy Maragos.

Cultivate Christ-Centered Community | John 15:12-17

In John 15:12-17 Jesus compels the church toward a vision of church as a spiritual family that gives sacrificially, gathers meaningfully, and goes missionally to bear abiding fruit.
