Pray For God’s People | Philippians 1:9-11

In Philippians 1:9-11 Paul prays for God's people to be devoted to one another in life, discerning and wise in life, and dedicated to the pursuit of God's glory because of God's grace. 

Love the Lord’s People | Philippians 1:7-8

In Philippians 1:7-8 the Apostle Paul encourages a loving church community by exuding his love for the Lord's people via proclaiming thanksgiving, partnering  in the gospel, and prioritizing a ministry of presence even if not immediately possible. 

Be Confident in Christ | Philippians 1:6

The Apostle Paul encourages us to have confidence in Christ's work through the church because God is sovereign, steadfast, and certain to complete what He has begun. 

Cherish the Church | Philippians 1:3-5

In Philippians 1:3-5 the Apostle Paul pours out his heart to God in thanksgiving for the church. Likewise, we are encouraged to cherish the church by praying, praising, and partnering for the purpose of knowing and making known the gospel. 

Partner for God’s Praise | Philippians 1:1-2

In Philippians 1:1-2 Paul opens his letter to this small church he previously planted in order to encourage God-glorifying rooted in their God-given identity as servants, saints, and siblings in Jesus Christ.

A Vision from the Valley | Psalm 84

Enjoying Jesus enables us to be salty, bright, and beautifully proclaim the reality of God’s Kingdom even amidst a dark and bland spiritual society.
