In Philippians 2:9-11 the Apostle Paul helps the reader to see that Jesus was not only a suffering servant per 2:5-8, but is now the exalted King. This high view of Jesus is meant to inspire a humble church that lives hopefully in Christ knowing he has risen, is reigning, and will soon return.

In Philippians 2:5-8 the Apostle Paul encourages the church to keep seeking unity through humility as they look to their servant and Savior, Jesus Christ. Specifically he encourages God's people to think highly of Jesus, live humbly with each other, and die hopefully knowing that Christ has risen and in him we have new life and new ways of life as well.

In Psalm 127 King Solomon invites God's people to lean on the Lord in all of life. He starts off the Psalm by helping us realize who the Lord is and how knowing the Lord enables us to rest and work as an overflow of worship.
