Solomon encourages us to praise God with the church by appreciating the significance of corporate gatherings, assessing our steps spiritually, and abandoning the foolish sacrifice of self-centered religion in favor of God-centered and Christ-cherishing relationship by faith. 

We're Better Together | Ecclesiastes 4:7-16

Solomon tells us it's better to live together with God's people. Amidst the hardship of life under the sun, God provides fellowship for His people as a means of furthering contentment in Him, receiving comfort from Him, and pursuing a Kingdom that is greater than anything on our own.

Solomon sees the reality of relationships under the sun and exhorts the church away from attacking, abandoning, or over acquiring in ways the hinder church harmony.

Amidst oppression under the sun, Solomon advises the audience to be personally aware of suffering, to affirm the truth of God's judgment, and to appreciate God's tender compassion which comes ultimately in Christ Jesus.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 Solomon encourages the hearer to receive each season as a providential gift, to remember we're made for eternity, and increasingly relate to God in humility.
